Looks like Konami isn’t wasting ANY time nor are they waiting for MR5 to drop before they start hitting decks to prepare the META game for new blood.
I am pretty sure the MOST anticipated card to be put on the Forbidden list is Spyral Master Plan. This card singlehandedly DROVE prices on the new support card for Dark Magicians, Magicians’ Souls, through the roof preventing Dark Magician players from being able to get this card to optimize their decks. With this hit to Spyral decks we can expect to see the prices start to drop for Magicians’ Souls and possibly make it more affordable for Dark Magician players wanting to flex their favorite archetype at full strength.
Destrudo the Lost Dragon’s Frission will be a blow to Synchro based decks. It was the backbone of many Synchro decks due to its ability to manipulate its own level. Many profiles ran and relied on this card.
Sky Striker decks are getting a small reprieve with Widow Anchor going from limited to semi-limited. we may be seeing some sky striker profiles re-emerge into the meta.
It looks like DANGERS are taking another hit with both Jackalope and Tsuchinoko dropping from semi-limited to limited.
