Alrighty ladies and gentlemen, Konami is steaming full speed ahead over the next several weeks and unleashing an unprecedented amount of product on us in a very short span of time. COVID-19 may have most of the world still in lockdown but that isnt slowing Yugioh product release one bit.
First up on our release list is Rise of the duelist. We can expect to see this set become available August 8th, 2020. There are severl good cards being released in this set but the one that will be HIGHLY sought out will most definitely be Triple Tactics Talent (here is a LINK to a previous article going into more detail about why this card will be so desireable). If you are lucky enough to obtain this gem (or multiple copies of it) hold onto it as it is sure to become a staple in decks from this point forward.
Following at the end of August on the 28th will be the release of the 2020 Tin of Lost Memories. This tin will be jam packed with prismatic, ultra and super rare cards along with three, yes you heard me right, THREE BRAND NEW WORLD PREMIERE cards. As if that wasn’t enough this will be the set that releases the highly anticipated and coveted DRAGUN OF RED-EYES! The card that single handedly shook the foundations of the OCG meta when released there. (Here is a LINK to our previous article detailing why Dragun of Red-Eyes is so powerful)
Finally, for those who LOVE to “bling” out their decks the TCG is finally getting its first treatment to PREMIUM GOLD rarity. First introduced in the OCG around the beginning of 2020 the rest of the world get a chance to loadout their decks with these absolutely stunning gold embossed and foiled cards. Six Monsters are getting not ONLY the premium gold treatment but also variant artwork to REALLY set them apart. One of the gems everyone will be looking for out of this one will be the reprint of Apollusa, Bow of the Goddess. The release date has been set for October 9th, 2020 and if your like me you just cannot wait to get your hands on it.
Even without organized play or hitting the shop each week for locals or hell, even being able to get up with your friends casually, we have A LOT to look forward to. There is enough hitting the market to keep us buildin and blingin thru Christmas.
